Venues in Avalon Beach
Pickleball venues on the Northern Beaches are rapidly growing in numbers and consequently pickleball is booming! We currently play at the Avalon Beach outdoor courts and indoors in the Avalon Recreation Centre. With the wonderful support of Northern Beaches Council, there will (hopefully) soon be more pickleball courts in and around Avalon Beach.
Indoor - Avalon Recreation Centre
3 indoor courts
Address: 59 Old Barrenjoey Road, Avalon Beach
Cost to play: $8
Parking: Limited parking is available behind the centre (see photo), with access via Bowling Green Lane. The Woolworths carpark has a 2-hour limit on weekends, so you may need to move your car during the session.

Outdoor - Avalon Beach Reserve
6 outdoor courts
Address: Barrenjoey Road, Avalon Beach. The courts are located on the Eastern side of Barrenjoey Road opposite the Fire Station.
Cost to play: $6
Parking: There are various places to park around the courts. The best places are marked with red lines on the image below. If you park on the ocean side of Careel Creek, you can either walk around the skate park or cross over the bridge and walk through the dog park (marked in blue).
